This site is about two things: IDENTITY and DESTINY.
The purpose of this site is to help others discover the identity and destiny that God has put inside of us. It isn’t until we get a grip on who God says that we are, that we can live the life He intended for us.
As sons and daughters of the Living God, we should live lives where we expect the exceptional and not live mediocre or insignificant lives.
My prayer is that the writing on this site will “encourage, comfort and urge you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.” (1 Thess 2:12).
This site is broken up into the following categories:
- Identity – These are posts to encourage you to discover your identity in Christ.
- Exceptional Living – These are posts which explore ways to live intentionally.
- Meditations – These are musings and meditations on the faith walk.
About Me
I can tell you my testimony. I can tell you what I do for a living. I can tell you what my talents are. I can tell you what my interests are. But none of those things define me.
First and foremost I am a son; a son of the Living God. That is who I am and Whose I am.
Interests
I am a huge technology geek, a music fanatic, an indie movie junkie, world traveler, dreamer, voracious reader, writer and most importantly…an extravagant lover of Jesus.
Job/Talents
I have my dream job serving as the Communications Director at The Harbour Church, which is in the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida. I write, I manage the website and I help with managing the IT side of things. My personal giftings are in writing and teaching and I have a pastoral calling.
I love people.
I enjoy spending time one-on-one and listening to other’s stories. I am an encourager and while not a certified counselor, sometimes I feel like one!
